Reporting a problem

Include as much of this as you can — it usually turns a week of back-and-forth into one reply.

WHAT
WHERE TO FIND IT
Kerf version
Autodesk App Store listing, or the add-in details in Fusion
Fusion version + operating system
Fusion → Help → About
What you did
The command you ran and the selection you made
Error code
The KERF-XXXXXXXX code shown in the error dialog
Technical details
The error dialog's “copy details” button puts the full traceback on your clipboard — paste it into the email
Log file (optional)
Documents/Kerf_Logs/kerf.log — attach it if you like

Kerf writes that log on your own machine and never uploads it automatically. Nothing is sent from your computer unless you choose to attach it. See the privacy policy for exactly what Kerf does and does not collect.

Diagnostics Kerf writes for you

When something builds unexpectedly, these files usually explain why, and they are useful to attach to a report.

Documents/Kerf_Logs/kerf.log
Orientation, countertop, MDF-cover and photo-shoot decisions for every run
Documents/Kerf_Logs/cam_diagnostic.txt
Per-sheet CAM plan — holes, tabs, tool choices
